In Chandigarh, we organize regularly literary programs like Poetry Reading, Face-to-Face & Releasing of a New Book etc. We have already organized more than 35 such events as under:

International Literary & Cultural Activities

India Inter-Continental Cultural Association (Regd,) Chandigarh, (IICCA) a non-profit cultural society, is engaged in the effort to bringing together peoples of the world through cross-cultural encounter presenting the pick of Literature, Art & Culture of various regions and countries. To this end we have successfully organized a number of International cultural and literary exchange program in India and abroad namely -

Loka Natyadal, Dhaka, a prominent theatre group from Bangladesh was invited in November 1991. This group presented Bangla version of Moliere’s play "The Miser" at Tagore Theatre, Chandigarh , on 22-11-1991.

A Theatre Workshop was organized on 23-11-1991 at Punjab Arts Council, Sector-16 Rose Garden, Chandigarh conducted by Igor Samotny (from Czech Republic) and Ssalongo Luwemba (from Uganda).

A Festival of India in Czechoslovakia was organised in May 1992, in which Dance Drama "Sri Krishna - Sare Karnan Da Karan" (Sri Krishna - Cause of all Causes) written & directed by Dev Bhardwaj was successfully performed at various places. Besides workshops on Indian Theatre, Music, Dance and seminars on Indian Literature, Indian Mythology and Philosophy were arranged there. An impressive exhibition of Indian Handicrafts was also organized on the occasion.

An International Conference on Art, Literature & Culture was organized in December, 1995 at English Auditorium, Panjab Univeirsity, Chandigarh in which more than 200 delegate-writers from Japan, Belgium, Norway, France, U.S.A., Mauritius, Nepal, Iraq, Kuwait and India etc. participated.

International Conference on Roma Heritage and Culture : Journey to Roots on April 12, 2001 at Chandigarh in which 21 delegates from countries of Europe participated (including the President, Vice President and Secretary General of International Romani Union)

Participation  in National Festival of Gypsy Music and Songs held at Stara Zagora (Bulgaria)  in 2001, 2002 & 2003

Organised an Exhibition of paintings by Katarzyna Pollok, a Roma-Sinti Gypsy Artist from Germany from April 18-23, 2002 at Pracheen Kala Kendra Sector 35 Chandigarh. (Inaugurated by Mr. Ashwani Sekhri, Hon'ble Minister for Culture, Punjab Government) and from April 25-30, 2002 at Central State Library, Patiala (Punjab) - Inaugurated by Mr. M. S. Narang, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Paiala. 

Organised Japanese Film & Music Shows  on 12-14 September 2003 at Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula in association with International Institute of Perfact Arts, Japan with support from Embassy of Japan, New Delhi.

Organised Indian Music and Dance Festival in Mauritius in May 2004

Organised Ist International Writers Festival at Chandigarh & Shimla (India) on 17-18-19 October, 2004 in which about 250 poets & writers (including 19 from abroad) participated. This Festival was organised in collaboration with Department of Public Relations, Chandigarh Administration and Academy of Art, Literature & Cultural, Shimla (Himachal Pradesh)

Organised 2ndt International Writers Festival at Kurukshetra, Yamuna nagar (Haryana), Paonta Sahib (Himachal) and Haridwar (Uttranchal) on 21-24 March 2006. More than 250 poets & writers from various parts of India and abroad participated.
